Upgrades

There can often be a lot of confusion when it comes to the anatomy of your home's roofline. Fortunately, Warwickshire Roofing is more than willing to clear up any confusion you may have. This diagram should visually explain the difference.

- Guttering is the network of open pipes that carry rainwater off the edge of your roof into drains.

- Fascias are the outward-facing cladding that the guttering attaches to.

- Soffits are the underside of the roof, adding additional support for the tiles above.

Fascias & Soffits

Having experience in the field of replacing fascias for many years,

our team at Warwickshire Roofing provide the best solutions for all your requirements.

We pride ourselves on the quality of products we use and the list of previously satisfied customers.

We provide the best quality fascia boards that are strong, attractive and have low maintenance properties. Fascia boards come in a variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from 100mm to 600 mm. They are available in ogee, tongue, groove finish or plain board. At Warwickshire Roofing, specialise in replacing and mending wooden fascia boards, along with UPVC boards, that do not perish over time or necessitate painting for a great span of time. We use waterproof fascias that are not damaged by damp or moisture.

The area between the fascia and the wall is known as the soffit.

It is both functional and aesthetical. It is nailed - or sometimes attached to - the rafters, and hides the breathable membrane, battens, sheathing, and other roof sections from the outdoors. Soffits also improve the aesthetic appeal of the property as well as the value. Signs of failing or worn out soffit include flaking paint, sags, rot, mold, moss, leaking, and crookedness. A competent roofer is able to assess the extent of the damage and also offer the correct solution.

A large number of fascias and soffits these days are constructed from traditional wooden sheets,

which are prone to warping and require constant attention to be maintained correctly.

By constructing your roofline with uPVC,

or even replacing wooden boards already fitted,

you can avoid many of the pitfalls associated with this kind of construction.

Warwickshire Roofing have been doing this for a long time, and are fully qualified to supply brand new uPVC rooflines for your home that you can be proud of. We have a wide range of colours and styles available to suit any home, and are willing to collaborate with you to provide the best service possible, supporting your roof for decades to come.
